Chichester District Council are planning to hike car parking charges and impose a new stealth charge on local motorists.
The Lib Dem dominated council have voted for deeply unpopular changes which will scrap free parking on Sundays whilst raising fees throughout the week by almost double the current rate of inflation.
This means that car parking costs are going up in Chichester, Midhurst and Petworth, and a tax on those driving to local high streets and church services on Sundays.
I'm running a campaign to stop this.
It's not too late, and together we can push for the council to U-Turn on this betrayal and keep their original commitment to cheaper car parking.
