Commenting on the speculation, Andrew Griffith, MP for Arundel said:
“Whatever your politics, West Sussex deserves better than this partisan and reckless mess of a government.
With the economy doing so badly and taxpayers being fleeced, they should now shelve all local government reforms in Sussex and hold the County Council elections that they cancelled last year, next May.”
